The documentary “Muslims of France”, on Al Jazeera, is absolutely fascinating. They touched on FLN, and even the racism of brown Arabs against their black, fellow Muslims. As I often say, the truest form of equality is equality in stupidity; and, in this case, the brown Arabs were just as stupid as the white French (who went on about supposed Arab blood- letting, in episode 1.)

The Chalabis, and the Iranian monarchists, take note: That the Harkis were seen as traitors by Algerians, and collaborators by the French, should come as no surprise. Rachel Maddow, and similar progressives, stood up for the Iraqi translators; but, when it really comes down to it, they may be left on the rooftop as the helicopter ascends. (Have they already?)

Episode 1, with its WWI and WWII footage of colonial, Muslim soldiers, was great. too.
