rt.com is showing the documentary Dying in Abundance. It is a great doc, though I have known of the issues for eons.
The free software community has been warning about patents for decades. Monsanto’s demonic role has been well covered–though I did not know of their Vietnam War history with Agent Orange. It brings to mind another documentary I saw recently, which tied the history of fertilizer companies with that of weapons manufacturers.
As for the farmer suicides (200,000 of them!): who knew that patents would cross paths like this with debt vultures!
