They’ve so immersed themselves in anti-Muslim hysteria that now they have to fight the enemy that surely must be attacking them from all sides! Can’t you see? The great hordes?

But this is not mere paranoia; it’s a necessity. To do otherwise, they will have to tackle the causes of the discontent. If they cease the rabble-rousing, they will have to pick not extreme manifestations of the other side, but representative ones.
